The Supreme Court Clerk serves as the official custodian of records for the Supreme Court in accordance with the Inspection of Public Records Act (IPRA). To submit an IPRA request, please click here. All requests under the Inspection of Public Records Act (IPRA) should be submitted to the Clerk and will be handled in accordance with IPRA.

Cualquier solicitud para fotografiar o grabar en video un procedimiento judicial debe presentarse al actuario del tribunal con al menos 24 horas de anticipación. Only one video camera will be allowed in the courtroom at one time. Permission will be granted on a first-come first-served basis, and press pooling may be required. Any still photography must be taken without a flash from a seated and stationary position. Please see Rule 23-107 NMRA for more information. Any requests for interviews or public statements must be submitted to the Chief Public Information Officer at the Administrative Office of the Court.

Please keep in mind, however, that the Court and its staff cannot perform legal research or provide legal advice for you. The Court does not issue advisory opinions or conduct investigations. The Court only rules on matters brought before it pursuant to the Rules of Appellate Procedure. Please also understand that any comments, complaints, opinions, or suggestions you have about the disposition of pending cases cannot be submitted to the Justices by Court staff because the Justices are strictly prohibited from receiving or considering ex parte communications in a pending or impending case.
